How many miles will a Ford v6 Engine out of a Mondeo be reliable for?
I am looking to buy a ford mondeo ghia 2.5 V6 butit has done 150,000 miles, the engine is clean, no residue in the oil or water, but am unsure whether 150k is too much for this engine Please help.

- It should do another 50K and more if you keep changing the oil
- Check the service history. If it has been serviced regularly no worries. She's good for many many more miles. The engine in a Mondeo isn't particularly tuned so is good for loads more
- Engine oil changes matter with this engine. If you've got solid proof of very regular changes then excellent. The engine will easily do 300k or more. Gearboxes and clutches are suspect. Hope a warranty of some sort is available for protection ? Good Luck, good choice, just be careful.
