1987 Ford F150 6 cylinder...?
My 87 Ford 6 cylinder pickup when first started runs fine. Gets warmed up just a little bit then it only runs good if I use the gas pedal with a very slow increase in movement...move it too fast and the engine either cuts out or actually loses rpm. Could the throttle position senser be causing my problem?

- fuel pump - there are 2 1 in the tank and a high presure pump near the filter
- Yes and the gas filter may have a little to do with it also change both of them and see what happens, I had a van that did that changed both and ran fine after that , also put some gas treatment in the tank a couple of times , Never had any more problems after that, hope this helps.
